Urban Reiver is a design studio based in Fife, Scotland, created in 2009 by Illustrator & Graphic Designer Kat Butler.
My projects vary in size and complexity, ranging from custom book design and illustration, to large-scale street map signage.
I specialise in environmentally focused design and often work for charities with nature, social justice or the arts at the heart of their organisation.
Do you have a project that needs great design for online or print? Here's the type of projects I have taken on in the past:
Infographics, map illustration, brochure and leaflet layout, social media, eNewsletters, branding.
Art commissions also taken.

Testimonials

Tim Bland  |  Cycling Souvenirs
In terms of bang for buck Katherine packs a massive punch. Her work is professional, meticulous and incredibly on point. Katherine has a great eye for detail and understands how to deliver the right feel for the brand. Katherine excels in illustrative design and bringing concepts to life but she has a wealth of other skills up her sleeve. We hired her for a logo and she now runs most of the business! A genuine asset in a World full of people talking the talk. I look forward to working more with Katherine.
Kerry Kimber  |  Knitting For All
Katherine worked with me over several months to develop the look and feel of my brand. Her attention to detail and knowledge of current design trends brought a professional and contemporary edge to our visual material both online and in print. Not only has she had an impact visually on the brand, but she has also contributed to online content, writing blogs and putting together newsletter and social media campaigns. I am delighted with all that she has achieved thus far and will look for opportunities to work with her again in the future.

I briefed Kat in to help with our Christmas campaigns, after our first conversation I was assured that she could bring to life the vision we had. Her approach and design was faultless and she brought a real freshness (whilst maintaining our look and feel) to the brand. That was our brief and she also surpassed expectations by adding her magic.
