This project afforded quite little design flexibility; as a reprint of a historic notebook, the contents couldn't be changed in any way, however it was possible to scale images in different ways, split text into two or three columns and utilise full pages for the more impactful illustrations.
The end papers were particularly nice, using a zoomed in version of the original book's front cover image and turning it into a decorative element. The simplicity of the fabric hard cover, gold foiling and quality paper stock made this volume a nice collector's item.
